March 19, 2003: Day of Caring
On March 19, volunteers planted 900 trees and shrubs and painted the Day Care Centre. Strathdon thanks the many volunteers from Esso and Mobil, the Lord Mayor's Charitable Fund, Glen Waverley Uniting Church and Kiwanis.

Pouring the Foundation of Stage I
(L to R) Mrs Marjorie B. M. Miller, Charles (Mac) Matheson and Robert Paroissen (Chairman of the Board of Governance). Mrs Miller and Mr Matheson are the daughter and son of Mary L. Matheson who donated the land for Strathdon Community in 1961. (L to R) Mrs Marjorie B. M. Miller, and Charles (Mac) Matheson.
