  VOLUNTEERS VOLUNTEER VACANCIES
Strathdon Volunteers

The involvement of the whole community in the care of our residents and day clients is at the very heart of Strathdon’s Policy of Care; especially encouraging the family and friends of our residents to be active in their visitation and support.

Strathdon’s quality of care and its goal of excellence for each resident has traditionally been assisted by our family of carers comprising of:

Strathdon staff Volunteers
Residents' relatives and friends Community Allied Health Care Services
Community groups

Volunteers are an integral part of providing high standards of care. They supplement and enhance the care that staff bring to the well-being of residents.

With government funding of care programs under stringent cost control, our needs for the interest and involvement of volunteers in care programs is greater than ever before.

Without the friendship and generosity of spirit given to residents and day clients by volunteers, Strathdon’s standards of care could not be sustained at their present high levels. Volunteers are co-equal partners with staff in caring for residents and people needing day care. They are welcomed and esteemed for the value of their contribution to the care of our residents.
